Annual Dinner Dance — 3rd December 2011

The West London Irish Society's annual Christmas Dinner Dance will be held on Saturday, 3rd December 2011, at the Renaissance London Heathrow Hotel on the Bath Road. Chosen Charity

Our chosen charity this year is Harlington Hospice, who are currently building a new Day Care Centre. The Hospice, which was founded in 1984, provides specialist palliative care for those suffering from incurable illnesses including cancer.

Annual Dinner Dance — 2010

The Guests of Honour at the Society's Annual Dinner Dance in 2010 were Jim O'Hara, academic, author and chair of the Hammersmith Cultural Centre and his wife, Hazel. A dance display was given by the Céim Óir Dancers, with music provided by Impact. Tony and Kay Leppard received £9,000 on behalf of the Shooting Star Children's Hospice, with £1,000 also being donated to Jet Set. Your support was much appreciated.

Annual Dinner Dance — 2009

The Guest of Honour at the Society's Annual Dinner Dance in 2009 was John McDonnell, M.P. for Hayes and Harlington. A dance display was given by the Murchu Duigin School of Irish Dancing, with music provided by Impact. Some photographs are available on the Gallery page. The supported charity was the British Heart Foundation, which was represented by Ian and Helen Stewart and received £11,000. Your support was much appreciated.

The Guest of Honour at the Society's Annual Dinner Dance in 2008 was Ken Livingstone, former Mayor of London. Some photographs are available on the Gallery page. The supported charity was the Royal Marsden Cancer Campaign. Your support was much appreciated.
